JayDay is free for families because partners make it free. Settlement agencies, schools, sponsors and funders all have a place here.

You can hand JayDay to a family on day one: no account, no cost, no app-store download needed, and helper text and voice in 13 home languages. It works on the phone the family already owns, and keeps working offline once loaded.
Pour les écoles et éducateurs
JayDay's skills are mapped to real curriculum standards (starting with the Ontario Mathematics 2020 and Language 2023 frameworks), so at-home practice reinforces classroom teaching instead of competing with it. Teachers can point ELL families to it without any procurement process.
Pour les commanditaires et bailleurs de fonds
Donations and sponsorship pay for hosting, professional translation, voice recording in more home languages, and curriculum authoring for new provinces and states. Because there is no paid tier, every dollar goes into reaching more children rather than serving paying customers.
Typical partnerships: sponsoring a new home language end-to-end, funding a province or state curriculum pack, or supplying devices to families through a local agency. We are happy to report on reach and usage without ever collecting children's personal data.
